1. God loves you today
"For behold, days are coming, says the Lord, when I will restore
the fortunes of my people, Israel and Judah, says the Lord, and I will
bring them back to the land which I gave to their fathers, and they
shall take possession of it" (Jeremiah 30:3)
"For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but
my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace
shall not be removed, says the Lord, who has compassion on you"
(Isaiah 55:10)
2. Sin separates us from God
"But your iniquities have made a separation between you and
your God, and your sins have hid His face from you so that He does not
hear" (Isaiah 59:2)
"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans
3:23)
3. Jesus has already redeemed you
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is
eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23)
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life"
(John 3:16)
4. Believe and convert
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears my
voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and
he with Me" (Revelation 3:20)
"But to all who received Him, who believed in His Name, He
gave power to become children of God" (John 1:12)
5. If you accept Jesus you receive the gift of
the Holy Spirit
"Repent and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus
Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift
of the Holy Spirit" (Acts 2:39)
"A new heart I will give you and a new Spirit I will put within
you; and I will take out of your flesh the heart of stone and give you
a heart of flesh" (Ezekiel 36:26)
6. You are called to community
"And they devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and fellowship,
to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And fear came upon every soul;
and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. And all who
believed were together in common; and they sold their possessions and
goods and distributed them to all, as any had need. And day by day,
attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they
partook of food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having
favour with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by
day those who were being saved". (Acts 2;42-47)
"So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually
members of one another." (Romans 12:5)
